Account & SupportBilling Details

Billing details

Update your card and billing address, handle a payment notice, upgrade your plan, or close your account.

Open your billing details

You'll need to be logged in. In your account menu, it's Account › Billing Information.

Why billing details matter

Bartender memberships are paid plans. Only active accounts appear publicly, so if a payment fails or is past due, your profile and the Event Albums, articles and other posts on it stop showing to the public until it's resolved. Event Host accounts are free and don't need billing details.

Update your card

Open your billing details

In your account menu, open Account and select Billing Information. Your billing page shows the card on file, or tells you if there isn't one.

Enter your new card

Go to the card update page, enter your new card details, and submit. If your last card was declined, the page tells you so and asks for a new card.

Check for notices

Return to your dashboard. If a payment notice is still showing, follow its button to pay what's due.

Your billing address (name, company name, street address, country, state, city, and ZIP) is also managed from your billing details.

If you see a payment notice

When a payment is due or overdue, a notice appears at the top of your account pages with a button that takes you to your billing details to pay. Your profile may not show to clients until the payment goes through.

Upgrade your plan

Start the upgrade

Use the Change Membership Plan button under your plan name in the account menu or on the Manage Account page, or open upgrade options. The button only appears when another plan is available to you. The upgrade page starts with a summary of your current plan.

Choose a plan and payment option

Select the plan you want and how you'd like to pay.

Enter your billing information

Fill in the cardholder name, billing address, card number, expiration date, and security code, then submit.

Not sure which plan fits? Compare plans. They differ in how many service areas you can show up in, how many Experiences you can offer, and which business tools are included.

Switch to yearly billing

When you sign up, you choose monthly or yearly billing. If you're on a monthly plan and want to pay once a year instead, open upgrade options and choose the yearly option for your plan. Your plan and features stay the same; only how you pay changes.

When a feature isn't in your plan

Some options in your account, such as posting an event or a job, are only included on certain plans. If you open one your plan doesn't include, you'll see a message that it isn't available on your current plan, with a See Upgrade Options button that takes you to the plans that include it.

Close your account

FindBartenders plans can be cancelled at any time.

Open account management

In your account menu, open Account and select Manage Account.

Choose to close your account

Select the option to close your account.

Choose when

On a paid plan, the page shows the date your plan is paid through. You can usually close right away or schedule the account to close on that date. Closing right away logs you out.

Closing your account removes your access. Once it's closed, your profile is no longer available to clients.

Changed your mind? If you scheduled your account to close, you can reactivate it from the same page before the closing date.
