Get More Clients
What to do when someone reaches out: the three ways potential clients contact you, how to respond, what to ask, how to show your offer, quote, follow up and book the job.
Your profile is live. This section is about what happens next: someone reaches out, and you turn that into a booked event. Then you post the event, so the next client finds you too.
How potential clients reach you
| What it means | Where you'll see it | |
|---|---|---|
| Someone contacts you from your profile | They filled out the contact form on your profile, or requested one of your Packages or Experiences. They chose you. It's yours alone. | An email titled "New Message from a Potential Client," and your messages in your FindBartenders account |
| FindBartenders sends you an event opportunity | A host asked FindBartenders for help finding a bartender. The event goes to the closest bartender who fits it, plus two more nearby. It's shared. | An email with the event details, and Manage Leads in your account menu, where you accept or decline it |
| Someone contacts you directly | A phone call, a message through your own website, or someone you've met before | Your phone and your own email. Not in your FindBartenders account |
However they reach you, the rule is the same: every potential client deserves a response. If FindBartenders sent you the event and you can't take it, decline it so it can go to another bartender. The person who can't hire you today may hire you for the next event, and every reply is part of your reputation.
