Add Your Service Areas

List the places where you want people to know you work, then show real work in those markets with Event Albums from the events you actually worked there.

Your locations say where you work. Your Event Albums show it. This step covers both.

Say it: choose your service areas

Your service areas are the markets where you want people to know you work. Most hosts search for a bartender near their event, and the service areas on your profile tell FindBartenders, and clients, where you're available. A service area can be a city, a county or a whole state.

City pages live today include Naples, Austin, Chicago, Charlotte, Colorado Springs, and New York City, with more being added.

Pick your service areas

Start with your home city, then add the places where you regularly work and would accept a booking, up to your plan's limit. Pick the level that matches how you really work: a city you serve, a county you cover, or a whole state if you travel across it.

Save them on your profile

On your dashboard, use the Service Areas button in your profile checklist, add each area, then save.

Only list places where you'd genuinely take a booking. Cities you don't really serve bring in requests you can't fulfill.

Show it: post real work in those cities

A selected city says you serve it. An Event Album from that city shows you actually worked there.

Every Event Album has an Event City & State field. Fill it in, and the city (plus the venue, if you add one) appears on that album's page.

Worked in a city? Post it.

Worked a wedding in Fort Lauderdale? Post the album and put Fort Lauderdale in Event City & State. Worked a corporate party in Miami the next week? Post that too. Now your FindBartenders profile shows real work in both cities.

Worked somewhere new? Post it.

Did a birthday in a town that isn't one of your listed cities? If you'd genuinely take another booking there, post the album. That's a real event in a real city, connected to your name.

Name the city in your other posts too

Add the city where you filmed a video, and name the city where an event happened in your event-recap articles.

One profile might say you serve Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton. Ten Event Albums from real jobs in Miami, Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton give people much more evidence that you really work in those markets.

Your locations say where you work. Your Event Albums show it. Saying it puts you in the right places. Showing it, one real event at a time, is what proves it.

What you just added: the markets where you want to be known, plus a plan to show real work in each one. Every album you post with its city is another market where your work is shown.

After every job: post the album and fill in Event City & State, so every city you work in has real proof.
