Write or Request Articles

Publish articles that show what you know, either by writing your own or by answering a few questions and having it written for you.

Articles let you show what you know. Each article is another page connected to your name, your services and your city, with an author box that links back to your profile. It also gives Google and AI tools more of your own words to find.

You don't have to be a writer. There are two ways to get an article on your profile.

Two kinds of articles

Recap an event you actually worked: the occasion, the city, your setup, what you poured, and how it went, with a couple of photos.

Recaps read as proof and tie you to a real place. You don't need a wedding. A backyard birthday or graduation party is a real article.

Example ideas:

  • The backyard birthday I bartended in [Event City]
  • A holiday or corporate event I ran the bar for in [Event City]
  • Setting up my mobile bar for a house party in [Event City]

Which city goes in the article? Your home city is already on your profile and author box. For an event recap, name the city where the event actually happened, even a nearby town. For a topic article, use the city you want to be found in. Only name places where you'd genuinely take a booking.

Do this now

Pick one idea

Start with the event freshest in your memory, or the question clients ask you most.

Request it or write it yourself

Request an article if you'd rather answer questions, or write it yourself.

Add real photos

Use photos from the actual event or of your own work, not stock images.

Submit

Your article is reviewed and published to your profile with your author box.

What you just added: another page showing what you know, connected to your name, your services and the city you named.

Once a month: turn one event story, or one question clients keep asking, into an article.
