Post Every Event as an Album
The most important habit on FindBartenders. Every event you work can become another page showing where you worked, what kind of event it was, what you did, and what it looked like.
You just worked another event. Turn it into another page showing your work. Then do it again after the next one, and the one after that, in every city you work. The more real events you document, the more proof you build.
Event Albums are available to Starter, Event Bartender Pro, and Business members.
Want to see what clients see first? How Event Albums Work shows your Past Events portfolio and a full album page.
What one album gives you
One Event Album isn't just a photo gallery. It turns a job you already did into:
Another event page
Its own page, titled for the event, with your photos and description.
Another city represented
The Event City & State shows on the album page, so your work is tied to a real place.
Another event type
The category (Weddings, Corporate Events, Private Parties and more) shows what kinds of events you work.
Another service shown
Your title and description show the service you actually performed.
Another set of titled photos
Every titled photo is its own page too.
Another piece of proof
Something real to send the next client who asks "have you done events like mine?"
It also gives you a reason to ask for a review, something to share on social, and maybe an article. And every album page carries an About the Bartender box with a button to hire you and a link to your profile.
Post your album
Do this within a day or two of each event, while the details are fresh.
Open Add an Event Album
Go to Add an Event Album in your account.
Title it for the event
The title becomes the page's title and web address. Name the event, the service and the city when it fits naturally, like "Miami Wedding Reception Bar Service" or "Backyard Birthday Bartending in Ann Arbor." Specific beats "Event Pics."
Pick the category
Choose the event type: Weddings, Private Parties, Corporate Events, Mobile Bar Setup, and more.
Fill in Event City & State
Where did the event take place? Add the city and state, like "Charlotte, NC." This connects the album with the areas where you work.
Add the venue, if you'd like it shown
Name the venue in Venue, or leave it blank for private homes and places you'd rather not display.
Add tags and a description
Add up to 10 real tags plus your city, like "wedding bartender miami." Then tell the story: the type of event, about how many guests, your bar setup, the services you provided, and any standout cocktails.
Publish it and add your photos
Set the album to publish (albums left unpublished stay hidden), save, and add your photos. Lead with your strongest shot.
Title and describe every photo
Every photo is its own page. Give each one a title and description that name the event, the service and the city, instead of leaving file names like IMG_4821.
The math, simply
One album with five titled photos is six pages working for you: the album plus each photo. Ten events done this way is 60 pages, spread across the cities and event types you actually worked. That's how real work builds up, one event at a time.
One album per event. Don't pile every photo into a single "My Work" album. Each event gets its own album, its own city, its own title, and its own page.
After every event: post it
Every job you finish is something new to post. Do this within a day or two of every event, while the photos and details are fresh.
Post the Event Album
Title it with the event type and the city, fill in Event City & State, add the Venue if the client is happy to show it, and pick the category. Add an Event Album
Title every photo
Name the event, the service and the city on each one. Every titled photo is its own page.
Ask for the review
Send your review link while the client is still happy about the night. Request Reviews
Add the video
Got a clip? Post it on YouTube or Vimeo, then add it to FindBartenders with the city where you filmed it.
Write it up if there's a story
A memorable event or a lesson learned can become an article. Write it yourself or answer a few questions and have it written for you.
Update your profile if something's new
First time offering a service, or a new area you'll keep working in? Add it to your services or service areas.
Share it
Post the album on your social accounts and share your FindBartenders link. Then do it all again after the next event.
Catch up on past events
Have events from the last few months? Add an album for each one, starting with the most recent. You don't need a wedding or a large event. A backyard birthday or office holiday party is real proof too.
No event photos yet? Start with a styled shoot
New, or your past events weren't photographed? Do a styled photo shoot first, then post your first real event as soon as you work it.
What you just added: another event page, another city where your work is shown, another event type, a set of titled photos, and a reason to ask this client for a review.
Your next event: post the album within a day or two, then ask for the review.
