Add Photos and Video

Let people see your real work before they ever contact you, with a clear profile photo, Event Albums, and short videos, each one another page connected to you.

A client can read your profile all day. What convinces them is seeing your work: the setup, the pour, the room you ran. Photos and videos are your proof, and each album or video you add is another page connected to you.

Three kinds of proof

Add a video

Video lets someone see you work before they ever contact you. One video might show a wedding. Another, speed and flair. Another, a cocktail class. Another, a corporate event. Each one shows a different part of what you do, and each one gets its own page on FindBartenders, connected to your profile.

Videos on FindBartenders link to clips you've already posted on YouTube or Vimeo, so there's no uploading to FindBartenders.

Post your clip on YouTube or Vimeo

Use footage you already have. A clean, well-lit phone clip works. Copy the link to the video.

Open the video form

Go to Add a Video in your account.

Give it a specific title

Name the event and the service, like "Craft Cocktails at a Rooftop Party in Miami," not "Bartending Video."

Paste the link and fill in the details

Add your YouTube or Vimeo link, choose a category, add a few real tags plus your city, add the city where you filmed it as the location, and write a short description of the event and what you did. Then save.

Not sure what to film? Start with an event recap, a cocktail demo, a flair moment, or a happy-client testimonial. Short and real beats overproduced.

What you just added: another way for people to see you work, on its own page, tied to the service you performed and the city where you performed it.

After every event: got a good clip? Add it as a video. Your photos go in an Event Album, which comes next.

No event photos yet? Do a styled photo shoot

If you're new, or your past events weren't photographed, set up a styled photo shoot. Someone hiring a bartender for a party should at least be able to see who you are, what you look like behind the bar, and what you'll bring.

Set up your bar

At home, in a friend's backyard, or at a venue you work with (with their permission). Use the bar, tools and glassware you'd bring to a real job.

Make your signature drinks

Mix the cocktails you're known for, with real garnishes. Good drinks photograph well.

Get shots of you working

You behind the bar, dressed the way you show up to events: pouring, shaking, garnishing, greeting a guest. Clients are hiring a person, so be in the photos.

Show your setup

If you have a mobile bar, a backdrop, a menu sign or a specialty station, photograph it set up and ready to go.

Film a short clip

Ten seconds of you making a drink is enough for your first video.

Then put it to work:

  • Use your best shot as your profile photo.
  • Post the rest as an album in the Cocktail Creations, Mobile Bar Setup or Behind the Scenes category, with your city in Event City & State.
  • Add the clip as your first video.

Keep it honest. Title it for what it is, like "Signature Cocktail Styled Shoot in Miami," and never present a styled shoot as a client's event. Then, as soon as you work your first real event, post that too.
